How Steroid Alternatives Really Work

When trying to find what results that you want to obtain, you have to figure out how much time you want to give to training. There will be times where you might want to see progress occur at a faster rate. While there are others who want to take more caution and don’t mind waiting a longer time for results. No matter where you stand on this issue, I am someone who would prefer to get more strength gains in a quicker amount of time. If you feel the same way that I do, there are definitely shortcuts that you can take to start packing on more muscle. The first kind of supplement that I would recommend looking into what gets good reviews and ratings. If I see something that has a bunch of one star reviews, I will typically avoid it. People are always going to say what they like and what they don’t, in this day and age, so keep that in mind. I don’t suggest that you try to take anything that is going to hurt your body in the long-term. Most of the sports nutrition products that I look for have to have some natural ingredients.

I used to not be so smart and would take almost anything if I thought that I could add muscle onto my body. After I made the switch to the best legal steroids that I tracked down, I got into way better shape. If you want to take something that will be a little bit easier on you, I would be sure to watch the food that you are eating. You would probably be surprised at just how good of shape that you can end up being by just watching what you eat. One thing that I want to point out: building muscle faster is not all done when you physically workout. A lot of people think this and is honestly one of the biggest myths out there. If you are taking in the vitamins that your body needs after a workout, you can lift weights until the sun goes down, you just won’t be able to pack on more muscle or get bigger any faster. I have heard this kind of thinking all around the gyms that I have been to over the years, and it is just rubbish. You have got to be able to give your body the energy that it needs and that will not come from just lifting really well but eating very poorly.

Making the commitment to truly change the way that your body looks is something that you will not regret doing, but no one said it would be easy. That being said, there are some awesome ways that you can really take down the time that it will take for you to really start seeing your muscle gains getting better. Stick with the plan that you choose to make in order to get stronger. If you want to use something that is going to give you quicker results, you may have to stick to a more strict regimen, as far as your supplement and nutrition choices are concerned. If you are someone, who, on the other hand, who is cool with getting your progress at a bit slower rate, I completely understand that as well. Always know that there can be many paths that you can take when it comes to becoming more fit and active, just be sure that you are choosing the right one. By doing this, you will have made your path to getting the figure that you want a much simpler and faster one!

Counting Calories: When to Draw the Line

By reading the title above, you may have already had a slight pain in your stomach. Counting calories has been something that many of us fight with doing. It can be quite annoying to have to watch everything that you take in. By knowing the exact amount of calories you are taking in, you can really setup a great way to watch your meal plans and see how your body adjusts to those changes. The people that will most want to track their calories will be professional bodybuilders. If your job and income depends on how well you look, tracking everything down to the last calorie can be something that could be a necessity. For most of us, we aren’t going to try to win any Mr. Olympias, we can still track them but to a lesser extent. You can usually take a rounded approach to what you eat and end up being well within the boundaries that you need to be in. If you want to track down every single calorie that you eat, that is great! However, most people are just not going to want to put in that much work and math (myself included). There are some great ways that you can do this in the modern era that we live in, which makes it easier than the old school way of doing it, but I just can’t find it any more fun. The idea, as a whole, just does not appeal to me.

Maybe if I was looking to change it up and really focus on how I looked, I would track everything. However, I can figure out that the can of tuna that I could eat is going to be better for my end game than a big container of ice cream. It is just way too easy to become obsessed and go overboard with counting calories, but this all depends on the person. I am someone who has more of an addictive personality, so by tracking everything, it becomes an obsession that takes up way too much of my time. Most of us lead busy lives and adding the need to add up everything that we eat and drink (have to track that too) can really eat up a huge chunk of time. One other thing that can go wrong when you are tracking what eat, based on calorie amounts alone, can lead to you making some blunders. For example, you will want to also think about the density of what you are ingesting. It is easy to find foods high in calories that will have you feeling hungry within an hour. By doing this, you are going to have meals that are spread to far apart to keep you feeling full.

If you are not feeling full, you will more likely than not, feel the need to have a snack. If you keep doing this and weeks and months go by, that one small snack can start to add up! If you are eating calorie dense foods, you will feel full for longer, which can make changing up what you eat so much easier! To sum it up, it is highly encouraged that you watch what you eat. That being said, there are instances where this can be become an obsession, one that you probably don’t want to go through. Ever since we were children, we have been told what foods are good and bad for you. Sure, some foods might fall in the middle of those two extremes, but we already have a pretty good built in sense for what help us and what will hinder us.

ai sports

This one definitely tops the list here. The funny name for this product is because it is a protein supplement that does not contain any whey. The product is made this way for people who need more protein in their life but can not properly digest any kind of whey. I have actually had the chance to try this one before and it tasted amazing. It is based from pea and rice protein, so you are already getting two great sources to help you meet your nutrition requirements.

  • Cellcucor Cor-Fetti Cake Batter Protein

corfetti protein

Wow, this stuff is amazing to try. It really does have a great cake batter flavor to it. If you grew up on those awesome rainbow colored confetti cakes, you will recognize this one right away. Made by Cellucor, one of the biggest supplement companies out there, you know that you are getting something that is quality and will work well.

  • Any Good Set of Grip Strengtheners

This one might seem a little odd, but these are a great thing to have. I actually didn’t know just how valuable that this product was until someone got them for me. There are all different kinds of strength levels that you can get, so you will need something a little bit different depending on who you buy them for. I got a real quick hit to my ego whenever I got the beginners sets of these. I thought that might have been a gag gift at first. However, the person that got them for me strongly suggested that I start out at a low level.  After trying them out for myself, that guy was right at the store! It took quite a bit of time for my to get a stronger grip and move up to the next set of these. It is kind of like a game or a challenge that you put yourself through. The most important thing about these products are, is how well they pay off when you get to workout. By having a stronger grip, you will be able to push more weight and push yourself. You may get a weird look from the person, at first, but encourage them to give them a shot and watch as they thank you, again and again, for getting them this product.

So, there you have it, I wanted to put this on here in case there is anyone doing some last minute gift getting. if you want to get some cool things for that person who is always at the gym, you can’t go wrong with any one of these choices. The Battle Against DMAA: What Happened to This Ingredient?

DMAA: The Start of A Super Popular Ingredient

dmaahistory

If you have been using any kind of workout supplements for the past few years, you have probably heard about the big DMAA news that rocked the entire fitness world. Recently, DMAA had been a common ingredient in many different types of pre workout products. I am pretty sure that even the whole world of fat burners started to get taken over by this ingredient as well. It was for a long time that you would get so used to seeing this ingredient in certain supplements, that you would probably casually look right past it.

I think that this was something that we all began to do. For a couple of years, DMAA kind of had a stronghold over a big portion of the supplements that we were taking. It seemed as if there were certain people who were not so keen on using this ingredients. The various fitness forums and message boards out there were always taking about this ingredient, at one time or another. As the popularity of this supplement grew, there was trouble on the horizon.

The Controversy Begins

The controversy seemingly started out of nowhere, when it began to show up that this ingredient was popping up on sports tests. People began failing these ingredients and then the bad tide of events started rolling in from there. A few sneaky companies had even started to promote the fact that this substance was banned in sports, in order to sell more of the product. I thought that this was a pretty sneaky little move that this company did.

After that, things began to get a little bit more serious regarding this ingredient. It was reported that there were some really bad results that people were having regarding supplements containing DMAA. At first, it was being seen as more hospital visits being reported and then a couple of major news stories sealed the fate of this one time powerhouse ingredient. A few people came into serious medical trouble and this ingredient was something that they were using at the time of these various medical problems. Needless to say, it was only a short time after that, that this ingredient came under fire and was shortly banned thereafter.

Supplement companies were given a date that they were have had as much of their product containing the DMAA to be sold.  After that, you saw a bunch of really quick sales. A select few of the lucky ones online who were deal savvy were actually able to really stock up on all of this product after the ban had been announced. I, myself, am kind of disappointed that I did not stock up on this sale and this is a big issue that I face. I think it is also something that the entire supplement consumer base is facing as well.

Are the Risks Worth the Reward for Some Supplements?

Are the results that we get or the way we feel when we use a good supplement worth the potential risks that we are taking? I am not saying this is always the case, but I have to say, I think I am completely ok with taking some risks. This might not be the smartest opinion but I know that if this happened again and those sales were occurring, I would try and be the first one there to stock up!

Sports Nutrition Now Shoutout: SuperPump Max

I wanted to talk about a supplement that was actually one of the first supplements that I have tried. We all remember getting that first supplement and the excitement that came with it. I am sure that there are some of you, who, like me, were asked all sorts of silly questions my nosy people you live with about what it is. You might even remember hearing them say all kinds of bad things and trying to put your knowledge of sports nutrition down. However, I bet that you are bigger and stronger than they are, so there!

Anyways, the supplement that was one of my first was SuperPump Max by Gaspari Nutrition. I first tried this supplement when it was being released with some new flavors. I picked up a green apple and a watermelon. One thing that kind of scared me, at first, was how much was considered a serving. I was worried that I might be overdoing it so I only used one scoop at first. Something that I wanted to note about this product was that it did not contain any beta alanine. I heard a lot of people online complaining that this supplement would not be like the others since it was missing that ingredient.

Although, I am someone that likes the feeling that beta alanine in a supplement gives him, I was not so easily turned away and still wanted to get this supplement. After I did get it, I was so happy that I made the decision to do so. First off, part of this shout out has to do with just how well it tasted. Some of us know just how nasty some pre workout supplements can taste. I mean. it can be really hard to down some of those other products once, let alone 2-3 times a week!

SuperPump Max was always a supplement that mixed together nicely for me. That was something that bothered me with the other various products out there, they were so hard to mix! No one wants to drink their drink before going to the gym and ingesting a big clump of powder, it is gross! Beyond that, you have to constantly mix it and make sure that everything is getting dissolved, not a good look.

This product really got me energized and ready to go lift something heavy. The energy has always been more clean feesuperpump max containerling and not so chemical. What I mean is that I wasn’t feeling like my heart was going to beat out of my chest but more of a well rested feeling. Trust me, guys and girls, just because there is no beta alanine in this supplement does not mean it is weak. One thing that some people say badly about this supplement is that there are some bathroom issues that can happen. To be honest, I have noticed this with most of the pre-workouts that I have tried, here and there. I am not a scientist or anything but I think that that has do to with the caffeine content.

If this had happened only while using SuperPump Max, I would think differently, but this is an issue that I have had since I started taking these supplements so I don’t think it is fair to throw Gaspari under the bus like that. If you are in need of a solid pre-workout supplement that you can count on to get better results, this is a great contender.
